Events don’t just happen—they’re crafted
From concept to completion: events crafted with precision, passion, and unwavering commitment to excellence
From planning to execution, I approach every detail with meticulous care—never leaving tasks to the last minute and always staying focused on the bigger picture and ultimate goal. I believe that if there’s a will to make something happen, there’s always a way to deliver it. My pride lies in creating events that are appreciated by everyone
involved—from the organizers who trusted the vision to the participants and community members who experience it. Excellence isn’t just about what happens on event day; it’s about the commitment, foresight, and care woven into every step of the process.
60 years strong one community celebration…
I organized the Port Credit Hockey Association’s 60th anniversary celebration, bringing the Toronto Marlies’ community festival to our community. I pitched the concept to the board, managed all logistics, and secured full sponsorship funding so the event was completely free for both the Association and attendees. The result was a successful celebration that brought together the Marlies, local hockey families, and the wider Port Credit community to honor 60 years of hometown hockey.

Event Coordination & Community Impact: Organizing Meaningful Experiences That Strengthen Our Community

I coordinated our Mississauga hockey league’s participation in the Hometown Hockey event, managing player selection for on-camera appearances and organizing teams for the ball hockey games and parade. I also ran a licensed 50-50 draw for the event. This effort showcased our league to the broader community and gave our players an exciting opportunity to be part of a nationally recognized hockey celebration.

I created and produced Stephen Uhraney’s photographic showcase “The Woodlot,” featuring photographs from our local sawmill and beloved character, Sawmill Sid. I led fundraising efforts and managed all logistics for the opening night event, including coordinating the on-screen presentation of the photographs and securing a speaker from the City of Mississauga. This project celebrated local history and brought the community together to honor an important piece of Mississauga’s heritage.

I helped coordinate the “Who We Are” photo exhibit for the Compass Food Bank and Outreach Centre’s 20th anniversary celebration. This project highlighted the people and stories behind the organization’s two decades of community service, featuring photographs of Compass patrons alongside those who work with and support them. My role involved organizing the exhibit logistics and supporting the anniversary event, helping to showcase Compass’s impact and the diverse community of individuals who have contributed to its mission over the years.

I coordinated a comprehensive online wellness event for the South Mississauga Free Exchange group, organizing seven days of programming with three free sessions per day focused on mental health and wellness. The event featured a diverse range of activities including yoga, meditation, talks, art projects, and exercise classes, all offered at no cost to participants. This initiative brought together local practitioners and community members to promote mental well-being and foster accessible wellness resources for everyone.
